"Have you ever had a nightmare and experienced that moment when you first woke up, that one second after opening your eyes, when you felt the nightmare was a part of your waking reality? Waking up to a recent use of methamphetamines is the opposite of that...there is a second, that one second, when you think the nightmare is real."
This isn't about being dramatic, it happens. Not pain, but horror.
The purpose of this site is to provide a wide resource of information about meth to both users and all others. The primary focus of the site is that of a resource of information to the user, but meth places such a large degree of destruction upon the user and all that surround the user (family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, homes, apartments, the environment, meth cooks, dealers, villages, cities, countries, other countries, vigilanties, the church, schools, rehabs, police, armies, rich, middle-class poor, economies, and more) that the site can't help, and should, because of that same inherent intertwining and vine-engulfing nature of meth, extend to include an equally ever growing expanse of information in an opposite direction. In plain language: meth causes chaos and destroys so this site attempts to provide a resource to push back and help in the opposite direction.
Whether you are an addict yourself, a family member or other, please, take some time to look around. This site is just starting to be updated again and you just never know what you might find.
There is a great deal of information on the Internet but the information is highly scattered, sometimes not well presented and sometimes of questionable opinion (casually reference of opinion without research, etc. in user groups or other).
|One of the most practical pages in this site is the "Coming Down" link above which might be used as a reference for recovering from a use of methamphetamines. Some are some items that are important to know in the immediate after of using, and this is a good place to start.|
